Welcome to the website of the Arizona State University Trombone Studio. The 2012-13 school year is in the books and we are looking forward to summer vacation and to welcoming eight new students to our Trombone Studio when we return in August for the fall semester. Thanks and congratulations to all who made this past year so successful and we wish our graduates all the best as they move ahead into the work force or to continue their education and make a difference in our ever-challenging world. There is much more ahead for us here at ASU as we plan for the coming year. To see what we are about here at ASU, please explore this website and its links, hear us at any of our many concerts, or have a look at our growing YouTube channel or follow us on Facebook to learn more about what we're doing. We look forward to seeing how our shared future will unfold as we contend together for excellence. Join us!
Think About It
"The trombone should be blown by a skillful musician so that it may not imitate the sounds of the trumpet, but rather assimilate itself to the sweetness of the human voice, lest it should emit a warlike rather than peaceful sound."
— Marin Mersenne, Harmonie Universelle, 1636
